1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Centimo through WhatsApp or our website (centimo.ai), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Centimo is an AI-powered personal finance assistant that operates through WhatsApp. The service allows you to track expenses, scan receipts, receive financial reports, and manage shared accounts through conversational messages.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid WhatsApp account to use Centimo. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account and Security

Your Centimo account is linked to your phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your WhatsApp account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Free and Pro Plans

Centimo offers a free plan and a Pro subscription plan. Both plans include all features. Details are available on our website.

• Free plan: all features included, up to 15 transactions per month
• Pro plan: $5.99/month or $49.99/year, unlimited transactions

6. Payments and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All prices are in US dollars. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Refunds

We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first Pro subscription payment if you are not satisfied. After this period, no refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Centimo only for lawful personal finance tracking purposes. You must not:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Send abusive, harmful, or spam content through the service
• Use automated tools to interact with the service

9. AI and Accuracy

Centimo uses artificial intelligence to categorize transactions and generate reports. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated categorizations and insights may not always be correct. You should verify important financial information independently. Centimo is not a substitute for professional financial advice.

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of Centimo is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Shared Accounts

If you invite others to a shared account, all members can view transactions logged to that account. You are responsible for managing who has access to your shared accounts.

12. Service Availability

We strive to keep Centimo available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

13. Limitation of Liability

Centimo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any financial decisions made based on information provided by the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Centimo at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time by simply not sending messages to Centimo.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through our WhatsApp service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
